From Dealership to Dinks: AT Sports Surfacing Materials Featured in Canadian Pickleball Facility

Pickleball continues to make waves internationally—and AT Sports is proud to be part of that growth.

                                     

AT Sports was proud to partner with Fairgrounds Club for the installation of 11 new CushionX pickleball courts in Ontario, Canada. The site, once a car dealership, has been transformed into a vibrant indoor pickleball facility, welcoming players of all ages and skill levels. The courts were installed by a local Canadian contractor Sport Technology, using AT Sports’ CushionX System and Acrytech Coatings specifically designed for impact resistance, durability, and vibrant colors that meets the demands of play year-round.

While AT Sports is based in the United States, this project is a testament to our expanding global outreach. From local community courts to major indoor conversions like this one, our products are helping bring the game of pickleball to more players around the globe.

Bobby Hotel Rooftop Court x AT Sports

Nashville’s First Rooftop Pickleball Court Just Got a Major Upgrade

                     

Pickleball continues to take the nation by storm—and Nashville is no exception. At the heart of the city’s vibrant downtown, the Bobby Hotel has just elevated its amenities in more ways than one. Partnering once again with Dinkville and AT Sports, the hotel has unveiled Nashville’s only rooftop pickleball court, now featuring a permanent CushionX surface for an even better playing experience.

This new court installation builds on last year’s success. In 2024, AT Sports installed a RollX court on the Bobby Hotel rooftop, giving guests and locals an exciting way to experience the game. After receiving overwhelmingly positive feedback, the hotel and Dinkville decided it was time for an upgrade. Enter CushionX—our premium, cushioned surface designed for performance and comfort.

The result? A professional-grade pickleball court in the sky, combining urban views with elite-level playability. Whether you’re an experienced player or just picking up a paddle, the new court offers a unique place to connect, compete, and have fun—right in the heart of Music City.

CushionX’s innovative quick installation process played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and efficient court setup for Court 16. Unlike traditional methods, CushionX surfaces are installed three times faster, significantly reducing the time required to complete the project.

The surfaces were also immediately paint-ready for customization with Acrytech Coatings. This compatibility allowed Court16 to personalize their courts quickly, aligning them with their signature branding and aesthetic. With CushionX’s efficient installation approach, the entire project was able to run smoothly without unnecessary delays, reflecting the commitment to excellence shared by both Court16 and AT Sports.
